Bureau Veritas Kenya is proud to announce its involvement in the second cohort of the Company Series Mentorship Program with the University of Nairobi, an initiative designed to bridge the gap between academia and industry for aspiring engineers. This mentorship program offers a unique opportunity for 5th-year engineering students to receive guidance, advice, and insights from seasoned professionals, helping them transition smoothly into the professional world.

The Company Series Mentorship Program stands out as a valuable platform where academic learning meets real-world application. Through this initiative, students gain firsthand exposure to industry challenges, trends, and best practices. Bureau Veritas Kenya is committed to supporting the next generation of engineers by contributing to this transformative learning experience.

This year, four esteemed professionals from Bureau Veritas Kenya—Christine Mbaya (HR Manager, East Africa), Ali Noor (Sales and Marketing Manager), Cyprian Omwenga (Performance Officer, QHSSE), and Collins Omondi (Operations Coordinator)—will mentor the students over the next six months. Their collective expertise spans human resources, sales and marketing, quality and safety standards, and operational management, providing a comprehensive learning experience for the students.

The mentorship initiative aims not only to equip students with the skills needed to excel in the engineering industry but also to foster collaborative research and innovation projects between academia and industry. By engaging with the students, BV Kenya’s professionals will provide invaluable insights that enhance the students' practical knowledge and problem-solving abilities, preparing them for successful careers.

This collaboration underscores Bureau Veritas Kenya’s dedication to nurturing young talent and promoting excellence in engineering education. It also highlights Bureau Veritas Kenya’s role as a key player in supporting the advancement of engineering standards in the region.
